Traveled from Sebring to Fort Lauderdale and enjoyed the many orange groves and sugar cane fields. We are settled at the Yacht Haven Marina/RV Park with big yachts on the canals and big RV's in the park!

Annette (our daughter-in-law) came to Daisy with pizza, salad and wine - fun evening!

January 22

Arrived in Sebring this afternoon - checked out the Sebring International Race Track and the old historic downtown area. Sorry to keep mentioning the weather, but darn....that 84-degree sunshine felt soooo good! Wish we could pack it up and ship up north!

Philip and Annette.....we're coming your way!

January 21

Today was 72 and sunny - Mark and I spent the day in Mount Dora full of charming shops and restaurants - just the kind of place I wished my shopaholic girlfriends could have been here with me to enjoy! We had lunch at the Windsor Rose Tea Room (more good eating) and Mark read his book and soaked up the sunshine!

It's sure been a fun week here at Lady Lake, Leesburg and The Villages - tomorrow we're off to Sebring.

January 20

The sun is shining after some dreary, chilly days! Went to 9:00 Mass at St. Timothy's in The Villages. John, Carolyn and her Mother, Leah came for breakfast on Daisy. In the afternoon we all enjoyed the Stetson University Symphony Orchestra perform at The Hawthorne Center followed by a delicious dinner at their home.

Planning to get back together later this winter and catch up with other boating friends who are scattered around Florida.

January 19

Oh what a fun day with Patty and friends shopping at the Millenia Mall in Orlando. Had lunch at P.F. Chang's (delish) and shopped some more. Ate at TooJays with Doug and Patty (some good comfort food on a chilly, rainy Saturday night).

January 18 - afternoon

Mark and I toured the Kennedy Space
Center at Cape Canaveral today with
Bob, Linda and Jason (our nephew
visiting from Wisconsin).
It was very interesting and educational!
We would highly recommend if you're in the area, to put this on your list of "must sees".

Arrived in Port Orange today - ahhhh, the warm sunshine feels great and back to wearing shorts and sandals! Enjoyed our 3 days in St. Augustine - what a wonderful city (oldest in the USA).

January 4

Today we spent some time at the Okefenokee Wildlife
Refuge Center. Wish it had been warmer for a boat
ride thru the swamp, but we did see 2 deer, a blue heron
and an otter.

Tomorrow we are off to St. Augustine, but sure enjoyed
our week in Folkston - nice to have some downtime
after all the holiday hustle and bustle!

January 3

All bundled up here in southern Georgia - it was 22 this morning, but nothing compared to what you folks in the Midwest are dealing with!

Warmer temps are coming to all of us very soon - yeah!!!
