HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYAN
29 years ago today, we were so blessed!
Big day on Sunday starting with Brady's First Communion at St.Joseph's at 9:00 followed by Drew's 8th grade graduation from Concordia Christian Day School at 10:30. After pictures, it was party time back at the house!
Good eating, presents, naps (Grandma and Blair), visiting, cake and then followed by watching the movie "Lone Survivor" - had read the book!
Quite a sobering but true story.
Here are a few pics from yesterday...
Brady outside St. Joseph's before making his First Holy Communion
Brady and his Godmother (Aunt Annette) and Uncle Philip (Uncle Ryan is his Godfather)
Handsome men with their pink ties
Grandma and Grandpa with Brady
Our new graduate
The graduates tossing their hats up in the air
Michael, Brooke, the "D's" and "B's"
Our honorees with their delicious ice cream cakes
One last picture with Blair before night night time and bye bye till late July
Very fun week in NC and happy to babysit and then celebrate 2 big milestone events! But Monday morning it was time to head home.....we left at 5:50AM (just before Philip and Annette left for Florida). Strange weather all day starting with fog, sunshine, fog and then mostly cloudy with some periods of rain - very heavy downpour around Danville, IL
We arrived home at 4:15 and a short time later, Anne and the boys drove in and tah dah....good little helpers to unload the truck!
Good to see these guys and their Mom.....along with a pretty basket of flowers they brought for Mother's Day!
So.....tomorrow, Luke comes to visit for a few days - along with putting our stuff away, we'll be doing some child proofing around the house! Sooo excited!
