Happy June....where oh where did May go?
A beautiful start to kick off the summer season - hot and sunny! Our day got off to a sad start when Grandpa discovered that only 8 balloons still had water in them??? Pays to read all the instructions and in tiny print it said to fill no more than 3 hours before using but 1 hour would be best! Ahhh.
Since Brady's field day didn't start till 12:30, we assured him we would get more balloons and have them at school in plenty of time. Davis is helping today, too, with all the fun.
Blair was almost finished with her toaster strudel for breakfast and she started saying "Poopsie" over and over and giggling up a storm....gotta love those little girls and their giggles! So out of the clear blue, all day, she'll say Poopsie" and just crack up!!!
Drew was off for 3 hours doing a community service project at one of the elementary schools. Blair and Grandma just hung out (did not go to school today). We picked Grandpa up in town after he dropped off my car getting the new tires Then to Target to get more balloons with the gizmo to fill "100 balloons in 1 minute!"
Let's try this again...
Grandpa replaced belt on lawn mower while Blair and I worked inside Daisy. Grandpa delivered the balloons to school and Drew came home to finish mowing the lawn. Their laundry is caught up for now....will tackle ours tomorrow.
Grandpa and Drew went into town to run some errands and pick up my car - happiness is a very clean detailed car, new tires and full tank of gas! They had lunch at Five Guys. It's sooo nice that Drew can drive - what a big help!!! Life is Good!
Drew golfed in the afternoon and Davis said it was their best field day ever! He enjoyed helping with all the little kids.
We did face time with Luke and winding down after another crazy day on Bugle Lane! Ha....
Grandpa and I are so aware of why God gave us our children when we were much younger!
Nighty night...
