Good morning! I had a great night on Daisy sleeping from 8-7:15.
We have constantly been listening to the latest Matthew updates. Mark and I were awake early and made the decision to cancel our trip to San Francisco (Fort Lauderdale canceled all flights at 10:30 today). While we are disappointed we won't be seeing Ryan and the Blues, we are glad we can help Annette with her little ones. Safety first!
Mark got a haircut this morning and Annette and Luke came over. Mark and Maeve stayed on Daisy and I followed Annette in Toad to her hotel (Marriott/Sanibel Resort) where we had our coffee on the balcony - it is a beautiful place.

I had a hair appointment yesterday in Lake worth that I had to cancel, but today was able to get in with Jewel (my favorite Fort Myers stylist). It was so good to see her and catch up!
I mentioned that Philip and Annette experienced "Wilma" in 2005....along with the horrific winds, they were out of power for 2 weeks!
As of now, Philip is staying at home....
Lots of RV's have left the east coast and traveled over here to the west coast....along with throngs of folks. Annette said her hotel has a 6-page waiting list for those who want a room for tomorrow night.
