Thursday - February 1

Welcome February....the month of red, hearts and love!!!

We said more good byes this morning at the park and God willing, we'll be back together next January.   Great bunch of folks from all around the country.    Our little mini caravan (Mark driving Daisy towing Toad and me in the truck) left at 10:45.    We took all country roads which was nice and had 2 stops along the way + a lunch break in LaBelle at Forrey's Grill (I had a fabulous blackened chicken tortilla salad and Mark had the fresh shrimp - all sooo yummy).    There were oodles of RV's, 5th Wheels, and travel trailers on the road.
The first of the month, we campers are changing locations.

We arrived at our new home for the next 2 months (Cypress Trail RV Resort) at 2.    What a beautiful place and huge with so many amenities.

We were welcomed at our site by neighbors (for 2 months) and long-time friends, Bill and Charmaine who lived in Bloomington and now in North Carolina.    So good to see them.

We had wine, sat and visited on their patio, then went for a walk this lovely evening.   We saw IL plates on a truck and then the signpost that said Dennis and Jamie....oh my....Mark worked with Dennis many years ago and now to see them here.    We had a good visit and sure our paths will cross again.

Happy Birthday to my brother Ron who is 78 years young today
