Mark and I went to breakfast at Busy Corner which was very busy this Mother's Day morning. We had about a 20-minute wait and then I brought Mark back to Flo. He's lying low today with his cough and congestion!
I went onto the ballpark and watched Connor and his Renegade team win an exciting game 6-5 with Connor scoring the winning run! Then some time off between games. Visited with Pat and Brenda who were watching their grandson Gavin play and had a great mesquite chicken breast (grilling out chicken, pork chops and burgers today).
The 2nd game wasn't so pretty.....it was hot and they were exhausted, but the weather was threatening and I left in the 4th inning when the skies got so black. Turns out it all went around us but some places had to get hammered.
Connor's team lost 20-3. Back to Flo. It was a fun day being with Anne and family, watching Connor in action and talking to my kids/grandkids.
