Lots of rain overnight - heavy at times, but mostly nice 'n gentle. We were up early and off to town for dentist appointments. Burrr....52, windy and dreary.
Had a few other errands and back home. Good afternoon to snuggle under the blanket and read, snooze, etc. Mark worked on securing tool box in back of Big Red.
Turned out to be a very strange weather day with the sun coming out around 11, but then later in the afternoon, the wind really picked up, skies got dark but just some sprinkles and the temp dropped.
Mark grilled burgers but a challenge keeping the flame lit with the strong winds. But first, his brother Tom and Beth stopped in for a short, chilly chat. They live in Danville and had been to a golf outing in Pekin. What a nice surprise!
Great burgers with all the fixin's and then euchre with Mark and Nancy - the guys won 2 of 3.
