ETA (estimated time of arrival) has a whole new meaning this week with the tropical storm/depression/hurricane (whatever you want to call it) bearing down on south FL. We are just hunkered down in Flo and steering clear of the outdoors for a few days.
We had Mass today at Holy Cross Cathedral in Boston with Cardinal O'Malley - usually Sunday masses are in the chapel with a different priest each week.
Rained most of the day and the winds were a-blowing (gusts to 38 mph) but the heavier rain and stronger winds will come tonight and into tomorrow. Anne told me (from IL) that she got an alert on her phone about 10 counties in FL cancelling school tomorrow and an update on the storm!
We had a quiet afternoon, reading and napping....Jim stopped by with 2 pieces of delicious pumpkin cake roll. BIG thanks!!! We played euchre with he and Lydia later with the guys beating Lydia and me 2 of 3 games.
We watched "The Bounty Hunter" - cute movie later, had supper and then fun zoom session with 11 siblings.
The rain and wind continue...
