Our calm, peaceful sleep was interrupted at 4:15 AM when the weather radio alert came on telling about a flash flood watch in effect for our area and north of us. We had planned to anchor out one more night, but decided to go into Chester (13 miles away) and be safe. We arrived at the Castle Harbor Marina at 9 - still waiting for that first drop of rain!!! It all went north of us and into NJ, so....Mark worked on boat jobs and we'll just hang out here a few days before moving on...
90% chance of rain today....but the sun came out and it was a nice summer day! We rode our bikes (first time for me since June) towards downtown, but too much traffic and so, got on a very nice bike trail thru the woods and rode a total of 7 miles.
Walked to "Shells Yes Crab Cake Company" for supper - it was ok, but nothing too exciting! We are in a nice friendly marina with several liveaboards.
