Daisy and we have a new home tonight - moved 1 mile from the Groves RV Resort to Siesta Bay. We weren't able to get the same spot for 2 months, so thus, the move. But we enjoyed our time at Groves and met some very nice folks. As is always the case on the first of the month, folks are movin' out and then more are movin' in! The interstates are always packed (especially on April 1st when the majority will be heading north)! We would probably get the prize for shortest distance traveled today!!! HA....
So, after sitting for 1 month, Daisy got out today first to the car wash for a good scrubbing; then to Ace Hardware to fill her propane tanks. Went to Publix for a few things and then to The Cape Cod Fish Company for a fabulous lunch. This guy from Rhode Island decided that the Gulf Coast of Florida needed some good New England seafood, so.....he opened this restaurant recently and it has been a bg success - nothing fancy, can eat inside or outside or do take-out. Mark and I sat on a picnic table on this spectacular day and scarfed down our DELICIOUS lobstah rolls! Our friend, Nancy from TN (a true blue lobster connoisseur would surely agree these were fabulous!) We'll be back to try something else as everything on their menu sounded great!
Couldn't check into Siesta Bay till noon, so arrived around 12:30 and while Mark got things hooked up, I took off to do 3 loads of laundry. Sure is a nice park - more space than at Groves, lots of amenities and facilities are very nice!
