Saturday - March 8

Woke up to very dreary skies and cool temps, so I exercised inside Daisy - not the most convenient, but got the job done!     Around 9, the clouds disappeared and rest of day we had those spectacular cerulean blue skies and low 70's......

Paula picked me up at 10:45 and we were off for a girls (Grandma's) shopping trip.   We had so much fun oohing and aahing over the darling baby clothes...Paula has a new grandson due April 1st (she also has an almost 3 year-old granddaughter.    Checked out some other shops, too, and a new shop for me - The Cheshire Cat - toys, toys and more toys!    We had lunch at Mimi's which was excellent!   Got back to Daisy around 3:30.    Chatted with Mark for a while and then we went on a bike ride - too pretty a day to stay indoors.

I am fighting a nasty cold - actually feel ok, but my nose is running, running......and our little Luke who is 11 months today is just not up to par.    He had been sick and then doing better, but just not his usual happy self and its hard to sleep lying down when you're all stuffed up!     Bummer, too, since his Grandma and Grandpa from IL are visiting for the long weekend.      Talked to Anne tonight and she went to prompt care today - bad cough and chest hurts!

Tuesday, Luke is to come over to Fort Myers for a few days with Mommy, so.....praying we all feel better SOON!!!

Mark grilled out steaks tonight - and along with a baked potato and sweet potato and glass of red wine, made for a great Saturday night dinner on Daisy.
