Welcome November and what a perfect day for traveling and to just be out and about! We left Paducah at 8 am. Had a picnic lunch at the Alabama Welcome Center - sooo nice to sit outdoors.

We arrived in Marianna FL just in time for 6:00 Mass at St. Anne's. Today is the Feast of All Saints and 41 years ago my Grandpa John passed away.

After church we found The Oaks, a local restaurant that got great reviews from Trip Advisor. Tuesday nights, they offer their Seafood Buffet Special......so, we along with 1/2 the town came to "pig out" on shrimp (3 different ways), catfish, and all the good southern cooking.....grits, lots of good veggies including fried okra, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, and much much more!
Checked into our hotel and watching the Cubbies!!!
