Friday - July 5

Up very early at 5:15 for our flight to Texas.    We flew from Rochester to Chicago to Dallas - whew - 96 steamy degrees,    We got our rental car, stopped at Culver's for a little bite to eat and then checked into our room in The Colony. 

We are here to celebrate with our dear, long-time friends, Pat and Brenda and their 50th anniversary celebration.    Most of their family live in the Dallas area, so.....tomorrow is the big party day (anniversary is actually September 26th).   2 bottles of chilled champagne waiting in our room!!!

We took a nap and then met Pat and Brenda for a good visit (and their daughter, Kassie and Kyle).    We left around 6:30 for "Gloria's" (great Tex Mex restaurant).    Here we are....

It was so fun being together and enjoying our margaritas and excellent Mexican fare!    Looking forward to the big party tomorrow.

Anne and boys are in Cincinnati this weekend for Liam's tournament.    They won 15-0 tonight!!! Connor's team finished last weekend.
