Monday - November 4

The 90's and humidity returned today...as soon as Mark stepped outside Flo, he smelled smoke (burning mulch a few miles away).     So, we did the weights in the comfort of the she shed.    He ran some errands including taking my phone into Computer Medics for new battery.   Later, the wind shifted and no more smoke in our area.    So I took off for a short walk - soon as I got close to the office, the smoke smell was back!    UGH!

We left around 11:30 for Fancy's and met John and Beth.    What a neat place - had never been, but heard good things from Sue and Jerry.    Loved the decor (made to look old with neat chandelier, bar area, all the old doors, etc.)    Just very cool and food was excellent.    Definitely a return place!

As always, enjoyed visiting with these two dear friends and now won't see them till January.

Back to Flo - took a little nap and then we touched up some paint in the she shed and outside.    Quick job and makes Mama happy, happy.

So......around 4 this afternoon, the guy from Computer Medic called saying my phone was NOT finished and could they keep it overnight and change battery tomorrow.    WHAT????    Another issue with Apple and paperwork, computer glitch, on and on.....I was NOT happy, but they have no choice and must abide by what Apple says.   I do not understand all this.    I just know that it's been 2x for my phone where Apple could not ok the work to be done. and both totally different issues.   So....no phone all day.   I'm lost!

Our neighbor a few doors down invited us to stop by for happy hour sometime.....they seem to be the gathering spot for some of the folks in the park.    We took our wine and off to Tom and Verna's from Norton Shores, MI;   also met George and Ann from Oakbrook, IL and Butch and Gaye from Chesapeake, VA.    Nice visiting with these folks.

More and more RV's are arriving daily...
