Friday - December 13

Gloomy dreary start to the day, but sun came out late morning and a really nice day with temps in the mid 40's.     We picked Philip up at 8:45 and off to the Bloomington airport.   Sure enjoyed having him with us and celebrating with Anne.

So Philip was off to Chicago, then Austin and LA and other spots around the country.     Mark and I went to Starbucks and stopped at a few spots and then home.   I got a haircut and he went to Larry's and did his weights.   I sat in the lobby and read while cleaning lady spiffed up our little home.

Nice quiet afternoon getting presents and clothes organized.    Mark took a nap.    Can't believe just 1 more week here.....hope your holiday hustle and bustle is going well.

Tonight we met Doris (Mark's sister) and Rich for dinner at Baxter's.     Doris started the tradition of taking each of her siblings (there are 11) to either lunch or dinner for their birthday a few years ago.   Although Mark's bday was November 7th, this is what works best for Doris to come and celebrate with Mark and watch Liam and Connor play hockey which we will do tomorrow.    She is a very big hockey fan.

We had such a good time (3-hour visit and wonderful dinner - Baxter's is where we always dine and it never disappoints)!

Complimentary dessert was gooey butter cake with chocolate ice cream and fresh fruit
My oh my oh my oh my!
