Thursday - October 6

One more delicious breakfast at Clocker's Cafe before checking out of the hotel, loading up our stuff and on our way.....another very pretty day for traveling.    We dropped Kathy off at the Springfield, MO airport with good bye hugs and not sure when we'll be all be together again as Kathy and Paul have canceled their February on Fort Myers Beach with the Ian devastation.

Claire and I had switched off with the driving (5.5 hours + stops) and chatted all the way + said the Rosary and listened to some wonderful love song music from CD that I had put together for Philip and Annette's wedding reception 17 years ago.   We cranked up the volume, sang along and enjoyed it all!

Mark met us at the gas station in Bloomington, got my stuff transferred to my car with more good bye hugs with Claire - I will see her in December.

Mark and I stopped at Anne's to see the boys and wish them good luck in the state golf tournament tomorrow.

On home to KK with a heavy rain shower....not sure where that came from as we had such a nice sunny day.    Now it's really windy and the temps have dropped.    A big change coming the next 2 days with temps in the 50's.

Good to be home - unpacked and been yakkin' with Mark catching up.    He had a productive week getting the bathroom mirror installed and several other jobs done!

It was a very fun week with 2 very dear friends.....the weather could not have been more perfect, great shows (Hits of the 60's and Jesus with an audience of 2,080), good eating, shopping, visiting Payne's Valley Golf Course but most of all, just being together again!

For some reason, Blogger won't let me post pictures tonight???   Till tomorrow...
