A very nippy 26 when Blair and I left for school this morning. Mark was up early and off to see our nephew, Justin in Concord, NC (almost 2 hours away) for hearing check-up. Justin and Jessa are both audiologists. Mark has been thinking he has some hearing issues, so wanted to be checked out. Got Blair to school, I stopped at Ingles for a few groceries and on home.
Brady has a light school day (mainly taking junior college courses) and really on top of things his senior year! He left at 10:15 and Mark called shortly after on his way home. He will be getting one hearing aide and several choices on which type he may prefer?. Next Thursday, he'll make the trip back to Concord to pick it up!
Shortly after Mark got home, we walked on our favorite trail to our bench...
Our kiddos have arrived in the Abacos and will be staying in Hope Town. Ryan got there yesterday. Let the fun begin!
Brooke was soo good about preparing several meals for when we're here including white chicken chili, stew, chili, stuffed peppers, chicken fajitas, tenderloin with roasted potatoes, pasta w/meatballs, etc. What a dear and sooo much appreciated. She loves to cook, we love to eat, and so it's a win win for all! Ha!!!
We went to Morganton to pick Blair up from school and then to the Cup 'n Spoon for yogurt and so many toppings!
We just missed Dave, Judy, Luke and Maeve who had been at Cup 'n Spoon Stopped at Ingles for a few things and on home to put away the groceries and then to Luke and Maeve's house - the 3 kiddos played and Judy, Dave, Mark and I had a nice visit in the new 4-seasons room!
On home and washed Ruby - Michael has a great set-up for washing vehicles. Stuffed peppers for supper. Brady came home after bb practice and nice to visit about his senior year, basketball team, college coming up, etc.
Blair did her skin care routine on Grandma tonight - she's really into proper, healthy skin care!
Annette's Dad took this pic this morning in Philip and Annette's backyard
