We all slept in! Wonderful!!! Breakfast and on with another gorgeous day here at Lake James. Brady took Jinx and Millie to the kennel where they'll hang out with their fur friends till next Saturday.
Allie and Owen arrived at noon. Sooo good to see them. They've been visiting friends near Greensboro for the past few days.
We had a fun afternoon - lunch, then went to the Camp and Blair met her friend Luna to spend the night. We showed Allie and Owen around the camp, (new swimming pool under construction), the pickelball and tennis courts, etc.. Then to Philip and Annette's home and chatted with Dave and Judy who are holding down the fort.

On home and enjoyed some sangria/wine on the porch - such a pretty day. Then time to go into Morganton for dinner at Treat. First time for us to eat here and all enjoyed our meals.

Back home to visit some more. Brady is volunteering for a big gala tonight benefitting the hospital with 400-500 guests He's wearing black shirt and pants and expects to be home late tonight.

CCHS won their football game this afternoon 27-12 in the state playoffs. And the Hawkeyes beat Northwestern 10-7 playing at Wrigley Field.
