Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, Dear Ryan, Happy Birthday to you....

The Birthday Boy celebrating #26...
We girls were up and going this morning - having a leisurely breakfast (complimentary European Continenal).   We walked around a little outside, but chilly and windy.   Interesting to read about the history of the Herrington Inn which was a former creamery and converted into a hotel in 1993 - it is lovely and the service was top-notch!!!

We drove to Third Street and browsed the shops (did not come close to getting to them all); then to Trader Joe's for wine and other goodies.    Back to Third Street for wonderful lunch at "Fiora's".   It is so elegant in an old yellow house formerly housing businesses over the years and 1.5 years ago, converted into this restaurant - very classy and food was excellent!    We even got a personal tour of the wine cellar.

Stopped at the "The Latest Crave" (new cupcake shop) and brought home treats for our hubbies and then to Geneva Commons - did some damage at Home Goods, stopped for coffees at Starbucks and started for home.    Had some rain off and on, but overall...........a fantastic, super-duper 2 days of "GIRL FUN"!!!

Mark is on his way home from Muskegon - had 2 good days working on Catrina and she is now floating again.   Tomorrow, the engine work begins!

Philip had a 30-hour layover at O'Hare, so rented a car and visited his in-laws, Dave and Judy (surprising Dave as today is his birthday and he had no clue Philip was meeting them for lunch).   He also stopped to see Grandpa D  and Grandma and Grandpa C.
