Got our stuff sorted for NC and the boat AND made the decision to drive instead of fly. We were going standby but flights are getting very full, so.....leaving in the morning, staying with friends in TN tomorrow night and onto NC Friday. Not taking any chances of missing out on any family fun!
Got a mani/pedi in the afternoon, Mark ran some errands, making lists, checking them twice and on and on....
Delivered flowers to Candy which she will "plant sit" while we're gone. Several weeks ago she brought over a double tiered wrought iron basket full of luscious blooms that she wanted us to enjoy while we were here. Also have the hanging basket from Anne and Patrick. Candy, now a Master Gardener will give them lots of TLC until we're back home in September. What a great friend and neighbor she is!
