Thursday - February 21

Hello from beautiful Cayo Costa......another relaxing day with beautiful weather and just hanging' out away from all the hustle and bustle of Fort Myers Beach!      We exercised, had breakfast and then Mark donned his scuba gear and cleaned some of Catrina's bottom!    I packed a picnic lunch and we took the dinghy to shore for a hike to the beach (1 mile) - sooo pretty there with all the miles and miles of white sand.    Since this island is only accessible by boat, there are ferries that drop folks off for the day - quite a few carrying all their beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc.

Had our lunch and then took the tram back to the dock, went for a dinghy ride back to the lagoon where we "hoped" to see the manatees - no luck again today, but so "quiet and peaceful" there!

Mark grilled out brats and just enjoying this pretty evening....

Hiya Pat and Mark! Just passing along our best from Elise and her people. You have no idea how cool we felt getting recognized over VHF. We'll keep an eye on the blog and look forward to catching up along the way somewhere.

Safe travels,
