Friday - February 7

Whoaaa....last night was not fun!   I heard the first rain drops at 1:53 am and almost immediately it turned to a deluge.    Rained very hard and occasionally, strong gusts making Flo shake a bit!    Yikes!

The rain continued for almost 4 hours and fortunately, the wind died down.    Not a good night's sleep!    And then we woke this morning to cool temps, our pretty bougainvillea lying on the ground.....Kevin, landscaper said he would stop in tomorrow to get it back up, taped, etc.    Patio furniture flew around, etc.   

We met Pat, Brenda, Sue and Jerry at Buckingham Farms for yummy breakfast and then we gals went shopping in Bonita Beach and on Fort Myers Beach.    The guys toured Babcock Ranch and we all had a fun day!     We got back to Cypress Trail around 3ish, had some drinks and appetizers and then later, we had dinner at The Boathouse.    It was a little cool despite heaters and having vinyl curtains pulled down.    Going to be a chilly night before things finally start warming up!

And then it was time to say good bye - hopefully, we'll see Pat and Brenda when we return to .Bloomington the end of February.    And Sue and Jerry, on Valentine's Day.
