Monday - February 3

Beautiful day......got to 78, much warmer than predicted.   Mark exercised and then we left to run some errands and off to Cape Coral to visit friends, Vinnie and Lori.    We met them about 5 years ago - they purchased John and Beth's (who we were with yesterday) PDQ catamaran and we've been together a few times over the past winters. 

Lori loves to cook and she had a delicious quiche with heart-shaped pieces of ham (how clever) and home-grown tomatoes (Lori loves to garden, too).    Great lunch and then outside to see their boat (Island Time) and visit under their tiki hut along the canal.   Dessert time - yummy chocolate ice box cake.....oh my and coffee.    Vinnie and Lori are originally from Long Island, NY but have lived in Cape Coral for 20 years.    Vinnie recently retired.....great couple!
