We passed many corn and wheat fields and some potato fields (lots of irrigation). Lots of large dairy farms, too. Some mountains off in the distance and some hills, but mostly flatland and speed limit is
80 mph.

Back on the interstate and then notified of accident ahead delaying us 16 minutes, then 20, then 30 and took an alternate route. They closed both east and west lanes of interstate for several miles and we had to take a frontage road (Mark figured about 8 miles out of our way) before getting back on 84. Soooo much traffic affected.
We are at the Village of Trees Campground (4 miles from Declo, ID) for the next 2 nights. It is only 97 - didn't reach the predicted 100.
BLT's for supper and then walked at 8:15 - still 90 out. The Snake River starts in Wyoming and is 1,078 miles long and encompasses parts of WY, ID, WA, OR, UT, and NV. It runs along our campground and a very popular spot for boaters, jet skiers, etc. We saw some swimmers, too, but this is not recommended with the strong undercurrents. Each year, there are several drownings here in Idaho. We walked down to the boat ramp and a happening place with folks leaving after a fun day on the water.
