HAPPY   BIRTHDAY   ANNETTE

Our lovely daughter-in-law - so thankful and happy to have her in our family!   Wife to Philip, Mommy to Luke and Maeve, "daughter" to us, sister-in-law to Anne, Michael Brooke and Ryan, Auntie to Drew, Davis, Brady, Blair, Liam and Connor, friend to many.   

    She does it all!

 Nice walk in the morning, breakfast sandwiches (bacon/egg/cheese on English muffins) and then dug in - organizing our closet and some bins ready for traveling next week.   

Did facetime with Annette and the kiddos and tackled the laundry.    Sure wish I could take my washer/dryer with us!

We had a real treat for dinner tonight thanks to gift cards from Anne (Christmas) and Michael and Brooke (my birthday) for the Veranda, our favorite fine dining place in Fort Myers.   It is located in downtown in a lovely old home with a beautiful courtyard which is where we were.    Fresh roses on the table, dreamy music playing, excellent service and wonderful food.   When I made the reservation 2 weeks ago, we could only get 5 or 8 PM in the courtyard.    So, we were the early birds but many more coming as we were leaving.

Came home, changed clothes and walked...try and burn off some of those calories and such a pretty evening to be out and about.
