A beautiful start to the day and not what was predicted. Rain during the night and all day was in the forecast, but not till almost 3:30 did we see the first drops.
We went to 9:30 Mass at St. Francis Xavier with Father Anthony and then to a delicious breakfast at First Watch (1st time this year) - love their carrot/pecan pancake. Picked up a few groceries at Publix and on home.
We worked outdoors putting things away and Martin (neighbor) came over to help Mark move the heavy weights from umbrella base under the she shed. Got the critters stored away till this fall, too.
Trixie Turtle; Betty Bunny; Tillie Turtle
The rain continued all afternoon and evening. This was a good ole fashioned thunderstorm - "A gully washer" "Raining like cats and dogs", "The heavens really opened up"!!! As of 7:00 we had 1.1" with more coming. We are still 5" below normal.
Zoom tonight with all 12 siblings! Fun as always... The rain continues to beat down on Flo!
Luke celebrated his birthday today with camp friends + Maeve and Blair
Have a safe, healthy, happy week ahead!
