Thursday - October 28

Happiness is waking up after a great night's sleep and feeling "good" !   Mark's arm still hurts a bit, but the blahs and tiredness are gone!

We and very high humidity went for a walk - rain and possible storms coming this afternoon.

Yesterday Kevin (head landscaper here in park) stopped by to look at our very tall rubber plants (they've exploded upward and outward) and dwarfing our bougainvillea.    Gabriel will be coming to do a big trim so looking forward to that.

We met Glen and Paula (long-time boating/RV friends originally from Bloomington/Normal) at Cristof's for delicious lunch on the porch!    Love this place and we were last here on Easter Sunday for brunch with Jim and Lydia.   So fun to sit and catch up in such a pretty setting.   We last saw them January 22, 2020.

Glen and Paula

Back home and waited for the call that the truck was ready for pick-up.     Wow....looks awesome and big thanks to Anne.    Of course, Mark wasn't home 10 minutes when the rain started!!!

Big Red

Thunder, lightning and torrential rain this evening....the whole shebang as many storms are passing thru Florida
