Wednesday - October 20

We are HOME SWEET HOME!!!    Arrived at Cypress Trail at 2:15 and our neighbor Martin was standing with the hose watering the pavers to prevent tire marks!    BIG thank you!    It is 90 degrees of HOT!     We did the basics - parked Flo, hooked up water and electric, cranked up the air and just chilled a bit.

Mark put gas in "Little Navy" and picked up a cinnamon roll and apple fritter for breakfast (both excellent).  We left Big Tree at 7:50 and traveled on I 275, I 10, very nice 4-lane road (301) and I 75.   Although we had to slow down 45-55 going thru some towns, there was not a lot of traffic on 301 and road was nice 'n smooth.

Mark chose a Pilot truck stop to park Flo and then he would come with me in car to get some lunch.     But, this Pilot (near Ellenton/Palmetto) did not have any parking for trucks, RV's, anything - strictly a fuel stop.    So we meandered thru residential neighborhoods and finally parked in Wal Mart and just picked up some sandwiches and ate on Flo.     It's not easy pulling a big rig thru town when you don't know where you're going!!!

We are so ready to be done with heavy traffic, construction, crazy drivers.    Along with lots of RV's and campers, there were several auto transport trucks hauling cars to FL to be ready for their owners when they arrive - BIG business!!!    And of course, trucks, trucks and more trucks!

Since we left KK, we have driven just under 1600 miles to get here!    We are tired and although there's lots to do.....there's always tomorrow!    Nighty night!
