Warm and sunny, but we nomads are feeling the effects from our booster shots yesterday. The sore left arm pain started last night and continuing, plus woke up feeling kinda blah, tired, etc. We are just taking it easy with our books, naps, etc. We did walk to the clubhouse parking lot to check out all the vendors (produce, bread, salsas, cheese, meat, doggie treats, etc.) + the food truck was "Crabcake Hotline". Didn't buy anything - just wanted to be back home!
Last night the CCHS soccer team played Mendota (south of my hometown of Sublette) and in double overtime + 5 penalty kicks, CCHS squeaked out a 3-2 victory and onto state in East Peoria this weekend. Mendota had been undefeated.....
This afternoon we took Big Red (I drove the car) to a detailing place (Christmas gift from Anne). They will work on it tomorrow. Had some ice cream at Sidecar Treats and on home. Peter's German Ice Cream and Coffee was closed (shorter hours thru November 6th for personal reasons).
We were wondering how things are going at Winn Dixie today as yesterday Samantha (pharmacist) said we were getting almost the last of the vaccine she had available. There are 20 doses in one vial and today she had a long list of people coming in, but there would not be enough???
Zoom with Claire and Kathy tonight! Good to catch up as it's been quite awhile!
