We remember so well 22 years ago tonight being at the hospital waiting for this guy to arrive! What a joy he's been to our family and we have so many happy memories thru the years. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Drewby!!!! Sending lots of love to Iowa City today!
A rainy morning but later a combo of sun and clouds. We had breakfast delivered as dining room is still closed. We order online the night before and specify what time we want food. Then we were off to run several errands and pick up some groceries. On home and turned on the switch for the fireplace, got the Christmas music playing, and lit the Christmas Tree scented candle.
Quiet afternoon of reading, starting the cards and wrapping a few gifts. Anne and Connor picked me up and we were off to Decatur for hockey game. He had to be there an hour before the 7:45 game, so after dropping him off at the Civic Center, we went to Starbucks and a few other shops to get some gifts. Fun to see Connor back on the ice, but unfortunately they lost 6-2.

Anne is off to Las Vegas tomorrow - a delayed vacation for her 50th from last year. She will meet her friend, Sue from Phoenix and enjoy 3 days of girl fun. We'll be staying with the boys.
Our 2 weeks in December here are busy busy starting tomorrow when my brother Bob and Linda come for our traditional shopping/eating/holiday merriment time! We'll get this season off to a good start!
