Thursday - October 12

A little rain early this morning and then sunny skies and really warm temps (79) in the afternoon.    We were off to town to run some errands.   Stopped at Anne's with some treats from Braker's for she and Connor and say good bye!    Then to Ken and Sigrun's - took her a few treats and wishing her happy healing with her wrist.    She has the cutest skeleton decor in her front yard.

Check out the baby on back of bike.

We met Barb and Roger for a long leisurely yummy lunch on the patio at Ancho and Agave.    Been a long time since the 4 of us were together.   We'll see them in FL but not till January.

Last stop of the day was to visit Donna Rae.    Shes doing well and sharp as ever.   She showed us the Halloween cards she had painted for her 12 great grands (#13 is due in April).  It's always fun to be with her.

On home and pondering about what to do travel wise.   Originally, the plan was to leave Saturday, the 14th for Fort Myers.    We have reservations at RV parks Saturday thru Monday nights.    But the weather forecast keeps changing.    Of course today was beautiful, but next 2 days sound yucky with possible heavy rain, storms, strong winds, hail, etc.    So...........we have Flo hooked up to Big Red and ready to roll outta KK but will wait and see what tomorrow morning brings.

I was really hoping to see some fall color before we left but still very green in central IL.
