Wednesday - October 11

Cloudy most of the day with the threat of rain (phones kept sending alerts), but just a little drizzle.    Joyce and Butch (Champaign friends and fellow RVers) came to KK.    Always a fun day with them.   We took off in Ruby for Faire Coffee in Eureka.    They love the quaint coffee shops as much as we do, so always part of whatever we're doing when we're together.

We sat and visited in this old bank building for over an hour and then off to Mackinaw and lunch at the Tea Room.   This is the 3rd time the 4 of us have eaten here and a favorite for all.   We loved our lunches, desserts, etc.   Joyce and I browsed the Garden Gate Floral with so many pretties and then back to Eureka.

Stopped at Braker's - love their food choices and stocked up on a few things.

Then to Scottwood for more browsing - this place is sooo awesome with gorgeous gifts, floral arrangements, gourmet foods, etc. + all the specialty coffees.    They had a lot of Christmas decor out and it was absolutely stunning + playing the most beautiful Christmas music - not even Halloween yet, but thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Back to KK, said our good byes till Florida.    They are leaving Sunday for the Sunshine State.
