We were out late Monday night so blog won't get posted until Tuesday.
Day started slow and easy. We did facetime with Luke mid-morning for his 11th birthday. They did not have school because of the eclipse.

Luke's Reese's Cake
Carlos the cat had his birthday also
Pat had hand therapy with Paul at 2:00. From there a quick stop at Dr. Langford's office to drop off paperwork before her appointment later this month.
Connie and Steve had invited us to join them on a wine tasting sunset cruise with Captiva Cruises. Their son Brad is a partner in the business. Before the cruise we went to Mucky Duck on Captiva for light dinner and appetizers. Sat outside to enjoy the view of the nice calm Gulf and warm weather.

From there a quick stop at Boop's ice cream palor to get a piece of Orange Crunch Cake
Orange Crunch after a couple of taste tests.
From there we boarded the boat. It was packed. Very nice evening for a cruise and sunset.

Once the boat was docked we had almost a 2 hour drive back to Cypress Trail. Long night but very enjoyable. Can't beat being on the water with friends.
