Friday, March 2 brought another warm, sunny day - crazy weather around the country with record-breaking temps in FL, all the devastating tornados in the Midwest and snow where Mark's folks
live in northern Illinois.
live in northern Illinois.
We exercised, I drove to the island and met Claire....we had a nice visit with Kathy and her friend, Ann at Kathy and Paul's condo. Then Claire and I took off for Flipper's at Lover's Key for awesome lunch (lobster roll and chocolate lava cake) on the water and then hit some neat shopping jaunts.

We had so much fun and great to catch up with my good buddy. I got a haircut, dropped Claire off at her condo and back to Mark and Catrina. Changed clothes and off to have dinner with Sue and Jerry at Steve and Connie's – wow....3rd night in a row to have an excellent home-cooked meal! So fun to be with these good friends and played Farkle with Jerry the winner!

Saturday, March 3 - Hot today and very breezy. Had a good chat with Mark's folks - today is his Mom's birthday....
Happy Birthday, Mom
86 years young
Our brother-in-law, Mike has been really sick the past 2 weeks while he and Theresa have been in Florida. He has bronchitis, sinusitis, conjunctivitis and now pneumonia. Sure bummed for him and hope he's on the mend soon! Theresa, Jim and Lydia came for a day of boating - we had so much fun. Had planned to have lunch at Gramma Dots on Sanibel, but water on the gulf was very rough and so Plan B was to eat at Bayfront Bistro which is always a winner! Great weather, great food/drink, and great hangin' out with the kin!!!

Jim, Lydia, Mark and I had dinner at Parrot Key and enjoyed being entertained by Frank Torino....he sings all the oldies, impersonates and just a great overall performer! What a fun day and evening!
