Friday - February 10

Deep blue skies and plenty of sunshine today after a cool start to the morning (50's).    We exercised and then I walked..    LOVE walking in this area - either downtown exploring all the streets, shops, etc. OR the residential areas and enjoying all the different architecture of homes and the biggies along the Caloosahatchee.

This afternoon we ran a bunch of errands, I got a haircut and then we stopped at the new Norman Love chocolate/wine/dessert/coffee/pastry salon!    What a beautiful place - we shared a delicious raspberry chocolate dessert and some gelato - DELECTABLE!!!!

Back to Catrina at 6; did a load of laundry and settled in for the night!

This morning we did face time with Blair...so much fun.   She was just flittin' from one activity to the next.    She started by saying Happy Valentine's Day, Grandma and Grandpa"!    Such a sweet girl!

Tomorrow is Thomas Edison's birthday - he would've been 170 years old!    So, here we are next door to he Edison/Ford Museum and been hearing all this beautiful big band music (orchestra) tonight and then saw all the little white twinkling lights - obviously a big party going on!

This is such a popular place and every day, all day long big crowds tour the historic winter homes of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison.    Nick, one of the tour guides on the "Pure Fort Myers" said it is in the top 10 of historical homes in the USA.

Luke and his friend, Celine......saying good-bye

Our kiddos move to North Carolina next week!
