Liam being Liam

Again...
Liam....we are proud of all you've accomplished these past 12 years   You are an awesome student, hockey and baseball player, avid fisherman and just all around Class A grandson!!!

Love you bunches!!!!

Our morning didn't get off to the best start....I was running water in the sink to wash some dishes and then forgot and left, with water still running for about 1/2 hour.    The sink overflowed, water running into cupboards, on the floor, under floorboards - in other words....a big MESS.   We got it all wiped up (had to use the shop vac), and got the fan and dehumidifier running.    Shame on me!!!!!

We did face time with the birthday boy and watched him open his presents!     Then off on foot to downtown for donuts at Bennett's (famous in Fort Myers like Palm Beach area and their yummy Jupiter ones. )  These were very good, too....

Saturday morning breakfast at Bennett's
regular glazed, heath bar, rocky road

It was chilly, windy and no sun when we were walking (called Liam again and sang "Happy Birthday").....after enjoying our donuts, we walked downtown to the HUGE art fair that is a BIG event in Fort Myers.   We had heard about this, but never been.    Sooo impressed with over 250 tents and every kind of art (all juried) imaginable....
paintings, wood carving, jewelry, sculpture, glass, metal, pottery, etc.    Plus oodles of food booths, entertainment, etc.   Just as we started browsing, the sun came out, we shed our jackets and enjoyed strolling around with lots and lots and lots of people.

This afternoon we had a couple come onboard, Vinnie and Laurie from Cape Coral.    They are PDQ owners, too, and wanted to see Catrina's new engines.    We had such a nice visit but the real surprise was hearing they bought their PDQ from our friends, John and Beth! here in Fort Myers.
   SMALL world.

We rode our bikes to 4:00 Mass at St. Francis Xavier, back to Catrina, changed clothes and off to meet Connie, Steve, Jerry and Sue at Terra Nostra for excellent Italian dinners and so fun to be together!    We also had almond cake (1 piece for each couple) which was sooo yummy!

Today Maeve is wearing a darling floral dress in pink and navy with lovely bow to accessorize!
Moving north , so needs to do some serious modeling with her pretty fashions!
