Wednesday - June 7

What a difference a day makes....today was cloudy and cool.   Only in the 60's, but still a fun morning scouting out the shops in St. Michaels while Mark waked to the hardware store.    There are just so many cute clothing, gift and miscellaneous shops here including a wonderful Christmas shop that is celebrating 45 years in St. Michaels.    I found ornaments for 7 of our 8 grandchildren and it's only June so plenty of time to find the perfect one for Liam   😊

As I was strolling past all the lovely homes, large and small, I forgot to mention 2 other charming things that make these homes so special......many of their front porches have
swings AND so many have candles in each window!

Pretty purple clematis
Charming yellow home with red door ad 2 red rocking chairs

We came back to Catrina and left San Domingo Creek at 12:15
(probably the last time we'll visit St. Michaels by boat!)      😰

We cruised 40 miles to the Queenstown Creek anchorage near Queenstown
(been here a few other times).

YEAH.......Fat Albert (Bert) the C-130 plane for the Blue Angels which flies their cargo and personnel to air shows is baaaaaaack.    Bert has been out of commission for almost 1 year due to some major repair work and a brand new paint job.
Welcome back, Bert!    Your fans will be so happy to see you!

Davis is spending this week at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.
Hope it's a fun, informative week.
