Wednesday - December 30

2020 is really coming down the home stretch!     We got an e-mail from Eastland Suites that a new water heater would be installed in our section of Building 9.    No water from 9-2, so we scurried around and got our showers.    Yesterday when Mark went to take his shower there was no hot water - 1 hour later it was back, but obviously a problem, so.....new water heater coming the day before we leave!     But, no worries - the office staff, maintenance and cleaning ladies here do a great job and we've always had plenty of hot water!!

As we finish up the packing, we add to our FL stash, a bucket, dowel rod and some stretch bands to help the back and shoulder heal.

We both did our therapy and later stopped at Starbucks - the lines this December are unbelievable, so we've been calling ahead and just go in and pick up - very quick and easy.     Then one final trip to storage to drop off the last of our stuff.    Mark loaded up the car except for just a few-last-minute things tomorrow.

Good day to hunker down - very dreary and gloomy out.

So sad to hear this morning that the father of Liam's classmates (twin girls) passed away suddenly.    Dr. Panopio (anesthesiologist) was only 56 and today would've been his 25th wedding anniversary.

Did a zoom session with residents of Cypress Trail between the current developers' HOA and the advisory board - short, but not so sweet......

Anne, Auntie and the boys have arrived at their ski resort!

3 games of euchre with Mark F and Nancy beating Mark C and me all 3.     Cards were not friendly today!
