Thursday - November 3

It was nice to sleep in a bit after 2 early mornings.   We went to Hardees for breakfast and Mark enjoyed his biscuit 'n gravy fix.    On home to do laundry, finish packing (me) and bunch of other piddlies.    Another hot 'n sunny day.

Mark read that today Fort Myers reached the 2,000,000 cubic foot mark for debris removal - mind boggling and still so much to do as we saw yesterday.     BIG thanks to all these hard workers doing their thing day after day (now at 5 weeks)!!!

So happy and thankful to hear that our friend Mark who had a heart attack yesterday had no damage to his heart.    He does have 50% blockage in one artery, but not enough to require a stent.

On this date in 1956, the Wizard of Oz made it's television debut!    And that movie is still such a classic and going strong.

We drove to the mall late afternoon to do some walking.   We were in parts we had not been to a few days ago - lots more ceiling tiles down and a musty smell in one area.   Also carpeting taken up in stores and a few more closed.

Enjoyed supper at Panera nearby (had an online gift card to use).    Rained really hard for a little bit on our way  home.    Saw a pretty rainbow.   Haven't had rain in several days so it was most welcome.

Lydia and I are flying to O'Hare tomorrow afternoon for Sisters' Weekend in Wisconsin.    There will be 9 of us and always a good time!
