Drew and Tessa

Mark and I were in North Carolina on
December 1, 1999 when Andrew Michael arrived - our 1st grandchild.
What a joy he's been and now out in the big ole world working in Dallas at KPMG.
Drew is one special guy who is very family oriented, loves to play euchre, play and watch sports and hang out with his friends!

Busy household this morning as Anne took Frankie and Gibson to "The Barking Lot" and then onto Chicago for her flight to Orlando.    The boys were off to school and all is calm and quiet!    It was a short night's sleep for all of us....these late night hockey games are not the best but with so many kids playing, the older boys get the late starts.

Connor - #2
Liam - #19
Connor - Anne - Liam

I picked up some peppermint mocha lattes and cranberry bliss bars at Starbucks and had a wonderful visit with my dear friend, Donna Rae at Westminster Village.   She is doing well and back to her painting - so talented!
Donna Rae - 90 and going strong!

Today was our Monday Night Friends Christmas luncheon at Bloomington Country Club - always a special event and today was certainly that.   10 of us gathered (missing Tamara) for some holiday cheer and wonderful lunch (some had dessert) and then white elephant gift exchange.   Our group has been together (3 of us) since 1973.   Big year coming in 2023.

Donna, Linda, Brenda, Connie, Pat, Ruth, Jody, Sue, Marsha, Nadine

On home to the boys who were napping after their late night in Springfield and tonight, more hockey.
Anne is in Cocoa Beach tonight with her friend Sue and tomorrow, they start cruising!

Another hockey game (downtown tonight) against Sacred Heart Griffin starting at 8:30 but tonight we WON 4-3 in a real nail biter.    Oh my....very exciting and Connor scored a goal!    And nice to be home earlier!

Jim and Lydia had Mark over for a steak dinner tonight!    Awesome and I know Mark appreciated a nice home-cooked meal.

So sad to hear that our brother-in-law, Joe's (Mark's sister Joan's hubby) Mother passed away last night at 90.    She had fallen on Thanksgiving morning and broke her hip.   Not sure of all the details, but Mary Ann was a very nice lady and the last parent for the Chamberlain siblings/spouses - so her generation are now all gone.

And now, this Grandma is off to dreamland!
