Monday - February 6

 Lovely day for a little day trip.    We left at 8:30 and stopped at Black/Gold Coffee Roasters in Venice and then drove downtown and I browsed some shops while Mark sat in the car.   We drove around the residential/beach area before meeting friends at Fins.

We were all dock mates on E-12 from 1995-2005 at Reefpoint Marina, Racine, WI.    So good to be together and catch up which we've been doing the past few years but with some missing from year to year.    Fins is such a pretty restaurant with wonderful views, great food and Sandy, our waitress was excellent.

Said our good byes and off to Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda - I did a bit more retail therapy and then on home.

Did facetime with Luke and Maeve as they were running around outdoors on a 60-degree day at Lake James.

So tomorrow, the Chamberlain siblings start arriving and 4 of them will be with us off and on thru March 1st.    Lots of fun coming up and good eating, of course!  😀
