Wednesday - February 8

Another mid 80-degree day.    We woke up earlier than usual so went for a walk before the heat kicked in!

A lady came from Lincoln Galloway to pick up Little Navy (fix the emission valve canister) and brought us a loaner car - white Nautilus to use.    No idea how long this will take.

Mark and I left for several errands - he was my chauffeur and last stop was Publix before he got a haircut downtown.   While he was getting pampered, I went into Le Macaron French Pastries for an iced latte and drooled over the display of beautiful macaron cookies.   I had never been here before but we'll take definitely take Blair when she comes as that girl LOVES macarons.
One of each please!   😊

On home put groceries away, had lunch, took a little cat nap, put away basket of clean laundry, read, etc.

They brought my car back at 5 and shortly after we were on our way to BJ's to meet Janet (Mark's sister) and Michael who are visiting from Rockford, IL.   Jim and Lydia picked us up and Joe and Joan joined the party and what a fun time!  Janet and Mike arrived last night and had a fun 1st day in Fort Myers (1st visit).    Mike golfed and Janet enjoyed the pool. They are both newbies to this retirement as they ended their long illustrious careers in education this past spring.
