Friday - January 16

Mark's parents would've been married 80 years yesterday - January 15, 1946.   I imagine they were dancing the day away in heaven!

Sunny but COLD here in Fort Myers with a low of 35.   Mark and I drove to the clubhouse to play euchre but first, stopped at Noble Brews for some coffee to warm up.   We so appreciate Kevin coming to the park and hope our residents will give him some good business to keep him coming back.    He will be here next Monday and for sure, on Fridays.

Cute little coffee truck

Estelle and I beat Marsha and Mark 2 games - fun morning!   On home for salads and grilled cheese.

After our naps, we went for a walk - such a pretty day....cool, but sunny.   We got up to 63 this afternoon.

We picked Janet and Michael up at 5 and off to downtown and dinner at Firestone Grill.   This is always a busy, popular place and we ate upstairs - loved it all.   3 of us had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf and Janet had the butterfish.    So much fun being together one last time.    We walked around downtown - tons of people enjoying this cool evening with it being the 3rd Friday of the month (Art Walk) with streets closed off for the artists and musicians).

Took them home and one final picture....

Michael and Janet in front of their cute little bungalow!

Tomorrow they are off to Tampa and a week-long cruise - we had sooo much fun (games, golf, lots of chatter, and lots of good eating)   We can't wait for them to visit again!
  Bon voyage!
