Mark was off to downtown for a haircut with Jose. I bundled up with my heaviest coat, gloves and earmuffs and walked to Barb's (neighbor) lot and we walked to the clubhouse (Omni room) to play canasta. The bright sun shining really helped. Barb had never played so I sat with her and she, along with Vicki and Beth beat Kathi, Brenda and Becky. Barb did great - so CT has another canasta player. We had 35 ladies today.
This afternoon we went to Dollar Tree on our way to the beach. Met Connie and Steve at Doc Fords for a 3:00 linner. Wow...what a busy place and really packed when we left. Food was so good with a pretty view of the water but nice 'n cozy inside. And of course, lots of chatter. There were folks sitting outside (with heaters)! Yikes!
