March 12

Started our Thursday off by going to 8:30 Mass at St. Anthony's and then breakfast at Kona Coffee (neat coffee cafe)

These two gals sat behind us in church and then came to Kona Coffee - we enjoyed a nice visit over breakfast! Meet Kathleen and Millie.

Went to Bob and Linda's for cook-out - here's Mark and Bob just "hanging out"!
My cousin, Brett, his wife,Tammy and sons, Brody and Brock who live in Lakeland joined us for supper. Great to see them - their 3rd son is due in just a few weeks!

Said our good-byes to all as tomorrow, we're back "on the road again" to Leesburg!

March 11

A gorgeous, warm sunny day in Florida and it's all about eating!!!! Mark and I drove to Plant City and Parkesdale Farms for fresh veggies and strawberries AND....pigged out on their scrumptuous strawberry shortcake! Definitely worth a trip to this place if you're in the area! All the folks lined up for strawberries, ice cream, shortcake, or all of the above!

Mark and I went to Harry's in downtown Lakeland for dinner - very good and if and when you're in Lakeland, do check out this place! Lovely evening to dine outdoors!

March 10

Sunny, warm day in Florida and so good to be back with Mark and Daisy! Got right back in the groove by going to lunch with my sister-in-law, Linda and friends at Mimi's Cafe. Janet, Sue, Linda, Pat and Sue
Lunch was followed by shopping at Bealls and here are the big spenders (Janet, Sue, Sue and Linda) with all their bags of goodies!

My sister-in-law Vicki (Ron's wife) was called out of town for a family emergency (her sister), so will miss visiting her while we're in Lakeland!

March 9

It's sure been a fun, busy weekend back in IL. Mark and Daisy are in Lakeland hanging out with my brothers/sisters-in-law. Grandma and her buddies with some last minute hugs and cuddles!

After visiting my parents, I was off to airport with 2 friends and flight back to Florida! Can't wait for the warm sunshine as this IL weather is the pits!!!

March 7-8

Fun weekend with Anne and family....enjoyed getting my "Grandma Fix" with the IL grandsons. "Mary Kay" consultant, Anne, before giving me a facial - felt so good!
