Easter Sunday - 2015

Hope you've all had a glorious Easter.   We sure did.   Philip had to work today.   Mark went to 8:15 Mass at St. Therese de Lisieux and stayed for the 10:00 Mass which Annette, Davis, Luke and I attended.    Luke got antsy around homily time, so Mark took him home.   What a beautiful Mass and the choir and orchestra were phenomenal!!!  
Talk about a joyous celebration with standing room only.

Mark and Davis played 36 holes of mini golf and then rode the go-karts.  Pool time in the afternoon for Philip, Annette, Luke and me.

Delicious Easter dinner of steaks on the Green Egg, baked potatoes, corn on the cob and cheesy bread.   Then the boys had an egg hunt...

Saturday - April 4

Busy, fun day.   Philip went to work and Annette, Mark and I took off with the boys starting with a trip to the Lion Safari Park - wow, what a neat place.   After riding in the car all thru a 4-mile loop and seeing all the animals, we enjoyed the adventure park    Rode the carousel, fed the fish, bought safari hats for both boys, had lunch and just enjoyed this beautiful area that resembled the jungle!

First order of business - buy some hats for the men!

Annette took Luke home for a nap and Mark and I took Davis to the Hot Shots Paint Ball just down the road from the safari park.

Annette and I played Rummikube - she creamed me and after supper, we took Luke to
Okeeheelee Park and played.   It's been a big day!

Friday - April 3

Sunny and warm day in southeast Florida.   Mark was off and running errands; Philip went to work, Davis slept in and around 10:30, we all (except Philip) went to the Calypso Waterpark for fun water sports including the big slide and lazy river.    Luke had fun in the kiddie area and we all had lunch before coming on home.   Luke and Grandma took naps and Mark, Annette and Davis
went to the beach.

Philip got home around 3:30, I fixed him lunch and we just hung out till the others came home at 5.
They also went to Hoffman's Chocolate Shop and Mark (what a dear) brought me 3 chocolate roses.
 
Had delicious dinner of vegetable soup and Mahi Mahi w/pasta.

Thursday - April 2

Beautiful day and after Mark exercised, we had breakfast and left Siesta Bay (with our memories) around 9:20.   Drove across the state to Lake Worth with  stop in Lantana at the Palm Beach RV Park to store Daisy for a week,

Great to be back in Lukeville.  Mark left for the airport to pick up Davis and met him at the gate in West Palm !  

Will be fun to have our #2 and #6 grandsons together this week.

Enjoyed pool and hot tub and then Annette fixed a delicious Hawaiian pork and rice dish!  
 Mark and Davis rode bikes till the mosquitoes drove us indoors.

Wednesday - April 1

It's April......the sun is shining, the birds are singing, Life is GOOD!   I am especially thinking of my Mom today and what would've been her 96th birthday!
 
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM......LOVE YOU and MISS YOU sooo much!!!!
 
We went to 9:30 Mass this morning, ran a few errands and then back to Daisy to start packing for Lake Worth.    Had lunch at the park "Hamburger Wednesday". 
Got the laundry caught up in the afternoon.
 
Went for one final bike ride thru the park in the evening and Mark loaded up bikes on back of Toad.   We'll be ready to roll outta here in the morning....
 
We're coming, Luke and then Davis flies in tomorrow afternoon!   Yeah....
