Friday - April 8

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUKE
Luke is 3 today!

It's been a lot of fun with presents, playing with cousin Blair
AND cake!!!

It was a sunny day in NC but cool and windy - more workers here and just enjoyed the kiddies.

Drew and Davis joined us for dinner at Jalapeno's Mexican Grill.    Brooke and Brady will come to the lake tomorrow after Brady's soccer games.

Daddy, Mommy and the Birthday Boy

Been a challenge to take pictures of these two...always, always on the move!!!

Thursday - April 7

Beautiful Thursday in NC.....good night's sleep in the new house and up and going with workers here finishing up odds and ends, new furniture arriving, etc.   I did a bunch of laundry

Around 11:00, the winds really picked up - whoaaa....strong stuff like we experienced this past weekend in IL.     Blair and Michael came, the kiddies took a good nap and rest of us were just doing this 'n that around the house getting stuff put away!

Brooke and Brady came up in the afternoon.    They were here a few hours and then back home.   Philip grilled rib eyes and we enjoyed a nice evening - winds died down, too, and a beautiful evening!

Wednesday - April 6

We left Brunswick at 7:55 and had a good day of travel.....mostly cloudy skies and temps in the 50's.     The Carolinas are just gorgeous with all their blooms which are out even more than when we were here in late March.

We arrived at Lake James at 3:30.....Michael, Brooke, Blair, Philip, Annette and Luke all here.     The NC kids are in the process of moving into their new lake home.     Mark and I will help with the little ones and with wherever we are needed!    It is a beautiful and we are honored to be the first to spend the night here in the guest room!

I have a nasty cold probably caught when we were back in IL with all the cold and wind, plus the flights.    Keeping my distance with hugs and cuddles and hoping for a quick fix?

Tuesday - April 5

2 more tired nomads tonight after a long day of travel.    We left Lake Worth around 9 and I drove to Lake Wales where we met my brothers and wives for lunch at Crazy Fish.   It was so fun to be together and catch up - they had been at the air show this past weekend in Key West.    So, we heard all about their trip, watching the Blue Angels, etc.    Lunch was delicious!

From Lake Wales, we drove to Lakeland, hooked up Daisy and arrived in Brunswick, GA around 6:30.    We walked to Larry's Subs for supper and glad to "call it a day"!
