Friday - April 27

Busy day......left home at 8:30 and off to Dixon to visit Mark's parents and bring home our truck
which they had this winter, but really didn't use cause of the very mild weather.   Stopped in Sublette and hung a basket of spring flowers on Mom and Dad's grave - my first visit there since Dad's funeral
 on  January 28.

Next stop was at Mark's sister Sue and Tom's home to see their brand new kitchen - wow!   Beautiful!!!   Good visit with them and then to see the folks and great visit and lunch at "Sandy's".    They had bought some new phones, so Mark helped get them set up and then his brother
Jim and Lydia came from St. Louis.    Sat and yakked with them.
Said our good-byes and off to Mendota.

I stopped in to visit my Aunt Marian for about 1/2 hour and Mark went on home with the truck to pick up Liam and Connor who are spending tonight and all day tomorrow.   When I got back in town, I stopped at "Zoup", a new place for some soup-to-go.....deeelish!!!

We are amazed at how many people all over town heard the roar of Ryan's F-18 fly over yesterday afternoon!   Not that often a military jet comes in and they are LOUD!

Time to read a bedtime story!
