Monday - April 2

Our first full day on Marsh Harbor, the largest town in the Abacos.     After the very small-town feel of quaint and charming Green Turtle Cay and Hope Town, we have stepped up to a regular stop light and more shops, eateries, etc.   We exercised and then Barb and I caught up on all the laundry.   After lunch, I hit some shops, Mark went for a bike ride and Barb and Roger enjoyed the pool.

We had the most delicious salad dressing at Green Turtle Cay - mango poppy seed.    The waitress told us we could buy it on Marsh Harbor, so.....today we were on a mission to "find" this stuff.    Store clerks told me to try Maxwell's, the big grocery store in their gourmet section.    We left at 5 on our bikes (almost 2 miles) and wow...Maxwell's is really upscale and everything you could want in a nice grocery store....BUT, no mango poppy seed.    Manager tried selling us regular poppy seed, but no mention of mango, so.....we'll keep hunting.    Good news was I found a CD of the Gully Roosters that Roger had wanted.     Been looking for one of those all over and tah dah....there was ONE left in "Monkey's Uncle" - cute gift shop.    Made Roger's day and still time to find the dressing.

From Maxwell's, we went to "Da Bes Yet Bakery" for fresh-out-of-the-kitchen" cinnamon rolls (tomorrow's breakfast) and where we got the cinnamon raisin bread yesterday (good stuff).    Here's Prince with his family who've had this bakery for 12 years - great fun folks!

Had dinner at Curly Tails - very nice place and then back to Catrina for sequence (we gals won the majority) and Roger won in dominoes.
