Friday - January 3

We are settled on Daisy at the Palm Beach Traveler Park for the night after saying our good byes to Philip, Annette and Luke.    We've been with them for 10 days and had so much fun......especially with sweet Luke!!!     We soooo appreciate their warm hospitality!

Luke and friends hanging out this morning

Cool temps for down here - 66 today after a high of 86 yesterday!    Started the day exercising and then Annette prepared a delicious breakfast (we've eaten soo much good stuff past 10 days).    Got the car loaded up and our friend Susie came for lunch and visit.    Always soo fun to be with her and catch up.    Annette fixed her wonderful corn chowder and was a good day for soup and crusty bread, topped off with crème brulee.

Stopped at Publix for a few things and then to Daisy to unpack all our stuff, groceries, etc.    Went for a late afternoon walk and tomorrow we are off to Marathon!

Looking forward to seeing the kids sometime when we're in Fort Myers - Philip built a special "wall" for Luke when he's sleeping  on Daisy to keep him safe from falling off the kitchen table (folded down).

Enjoying Susie!!!

Gosh, I'm gonna miss this little guy sooo much!

The forecast for back home is brutal with heavy snow and "dangerous" wind chills of -30-40 on Monday/Tuesday.    Already talking about possible school closings, etc.    Sure hope Liam and Connor and all the other little ones don't have to be out in those frigid temps!

Have a wonderful weekend and stay warm if you're up north!
